Communities

As a community newbie, I can’t say enough nice things about the advice in this article. My fellow community members have inspired me to be even better at community building and I’ve learned a lot from them.

I learned so many things about my local community that I wouldn't have if I hadn't started here.

I spent many years as a newbie in a community in a fairly small town, and I realized that there were a lot of things I needed to do to help the community thrive. I guess the biggest lesson I learned is that if you want to do great things for your community, you have to be willing to take small steps.

I think we can all agree that the biggest step is to start a community where people are willing to meet with each other and work together on projects they care about. I found that the most effective thing I did for my new community was to create a Facebook group. The group was initially a group for those who didn’t have a Facebook account, but soon I was in a group with people who did and they started a Facebook group for the group.

As I mentioned in the original post, I created a Facebook group, but not a Facebook page.

I did this because I wanted to keep my personal life separate from the new community. I wanted to create a community of people who were interested in the same type of things as me and it didn't seem like a good idea to have it be a community of my own personal friends.

I found a really cool website that had a ton of great articles about Facebook. It was called I found this site by looking at the “Community” section and there were a lot of great articles. However, by reading these articles it became apparent that I really wanted to be in a group with people who were interested in the same type of things as me.

I feel like people who have a high interest in a certain type of thing are the most inclined to form these communities themselves.

If you find yourself in this situation, your best bet is probably to contact the people in your close circle and ask them to make some of their friends in that same circle aware of your interest in the same type of thing.

Communities

There are three ways to do that. The first one is to try to get them to join a group that has a lot of members of the same interest. The second is to work to convince your friends to join you. The third is to find a few people in your community who are already members and help them become more involved as well.

It really is easier to get people started on a community-building project if you can get them to join a group of their peers, but for some people, it can be a daunting task.

One of the best ways to get started is to find a few other people in your community who are interested in the same type of thing. Some of them may already be a part of a group, but if not, you can set up a casual meeting.
