6 Counterintuitive Tips for Crushing Your Creative Goals

Goals

Most people think about creativity as an area of focus where you can make your life easier. But a lot of times, that’s not what creativity is all about. Creativity can be difficult to define, even more so when you’re trying to figure out that you want to start a new business or pursue a creative project you’ve always had.

Creativity is about a lot more than just a few things you happen to start doing.

It’s also about being able to make things and do things that you normally wouldn’t be able to. And because we don’t have a lot of time to do creative things, often we end up doing them in the most mundane ways possible.

Creative goals are hard to define when you've spent so much time focusing on things that you have no time for the creative things that you do want to do. I mean, think about it. You're probably not going to be able to create an entire series of blogs or movies or art pieces if you're not willing to spend a lot of time honing in on the things you want to do.

But in our case, we have time. We have lots of time.

We can create anything we want. We aren't limited by time like most people. There are only so many hours in the day and we can create. So why do we spend so much time focusing on what we can actually do and not on the things we want to do? Because we need to be able to do the things that we want to do, without becoming stuck in a rut.

The problem with all of this is that we spend our time worrying more about the things that we want to do than the things that we actually do. To be truly successful, you need to find your unique creative rhythm of how you want to create and how you want to make that happen. If you are always creating and never getting anywhere, you will not be able to create the things that you want to create.

Goals

If you’re like me, you’re always trying to change yourself and your life in some way. But you’re also really good at changing other people and other people’s lives. I know a lot of people want to change the world and make a difference in the world, right? That’s why I have a lot of goals in the world, and I also want to have a “me” life that I can be proud of.

If you want to make the world a better place or make some other change, you need to get active and involved in it.

Your creativity does not come from sitting on the couch and thinking about ideas, it comes from doing. And if you don't put in the time, you will never make anything of yourself.

In order to be a creative person, you have to understand the time you spend on activities that are not creative. It's a tough pill to swallow, but you need to be honest with yourself and realize that even if you do not see your goals as big or as important, you do think you have a responsibility to make them come true. Making them come true is hard work, and it takes effort.
