For example, I have friends who are obsessed with the “glamour” of a certain celebrity, a person that appears in everything from TV commercials and fashion shows to reality shows and movies.I know a lot of people who find this relationship ridiculous, but most of them are just making up an excuse like “I’m just being crazy.” So I’m going to give you some examples. One of my friends has a friend who she likes shopping for. She has another friend who she likes buying new clothes for herself. Another friend is obsessed with celebrities. Another friend has a friend who is a celebrity fan. Another friend is a celebrity-obsessed.
These examples are just more evidence that your relationship with ridiculous is a little bit of a self-fulfilling prophecy.
