7 Powerful Habits to Master for Success in Martial Arts Lifestyle

This is a guest post by a reader on the blog, The World of Martial Arts. I’m a big fan of martial arts and I really enjoy the lifestyle that comes with it. I know there are a lot of people that are not in favor of martial arts, and I understand that. I am not in favor of martial arts, but I do understand that if you want to have success in your martial arts lifestyle, you have to master these 7 habits.

I am not advocating that you have to learn all of these habits in one day or one night or even one week, but if you want to be successful in your martial arts lifestyle, you really do need to master these habits.


I know that I am going to get a lot of flak about this, but I believe that it is necessary. It’s also important to know that it is a lifestyle, not a religion or a hobby.


A lot of people are afraid that they won't be successful in martial art because they don't have all of these habits, but I promise you that that is not the case. If you can master these 7 habits, then you will be successful in your martial art lifestyle.


Before I start rambling on about this list, let me say that these habits are not some mystical way to learn martial art. If it were, everyone would be doing it. These habits are simply a way of life. If you follow them, you will be successful in everything you do. I've taken the time to write down the 7 habits that I believe are the most important in life.

#1: “I can’t do that.”


This is a common refrain when people tell you that they can’t do something because it’s inconvenient, or because it takes too much effort. We can always do something if we have the tools, but we are most likely to try something if we don’t have to do it.


The reason we feel that way is because we feel that we need to do something all the time and can’t do it without the tools. We feel that we have to have the tools and we do the work, but because we don't have to we feel that we have to do it all the time.


It is true that some of us can do things that we don't want to do, but it is also true that there are some things that we can do that we really don't want to do.


The best thing to do for everyone is to just admit that you want to do it and go for it.


The truth is that there is a world in which we all do everything we can do, but there are still things that we can do that we don't want to do. The greatest problem we all have is that we are afraid to do it simply for the fear of failure. There are some things that we can do that we truly cannot do, but there are also things that we can do that we don't want to do.
