The Nike brand is quite the corporate brand these days.

I mean, I wouldn't even know what it looked like, but we sure know what it sounds like. The Nike brand is one of the most recognizable brands on the planet, in addition to being one of the most successful.

As much as I love Nike, I don't think I've ever heard of the company or its products called "Nike" or "Niky" since I started using them.

The word "Nike" was taken from the French word "Nike" which is a brand name for a type of shoe made from leather. Nike shoes are the primary brand of athletic footwear for almost all of the world's athletes, and the company is one of the biggest employers in the world.

The brand's name is a trademark.

They own the trademark. So there are certain things that are required for trademarking a brand. You have to register it with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (PTO) or the International Trade Commission (ITC). They have to be in English and be identical to the original trademark. They have to have been registered for at least two years. These requirements are very strict.

So in order to register the Brand name for Nike, it must be in English and identical to the original trademark. It must be registered for at least two years. Because it is trademarked, it is subject to the same rules and requirements as a trademark. So, if someone trademarked the word “Nike”, the trademark would have to be registered for at least two years in order for Nike to be registered as the original trademark.

So what should you do if you have a trademarked name for the brand, but never registered for it?

You can apply for it as soon as your name is registered. The trademark office will take about three years to approve your trademark request. But in the meantime, you can look into getting registered for your name and eventually the trademark.

The reality is that because a company like Nike can have multiple owners for the name, they have no legal ownership of the trademark.

So if you plan on using a name that’s trademarked, you should apply for a new trademark first. It might take a few years before your trademark is officially accepted though.

It's not just Nike, there are other companies that also have multiple owners for their names. Most notably, Coca-Cola, the world's biggest beverage company. Its name has been trademarked for decades, but they don't officially own the trademark. So if you intend on using a name for Coca-Cola, you will have to apply for a new trademark first, which can take a few years.
